Abstract

Background and Objective: With the expansion of e-learning in the post-corona era, attention to the psychological consequences of this method of education has become important. One of the key variables in this field is the psychological resilience of students, which can play an important role in their adaptation to educational challenges. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of using virtual educational platforms on the psychological resilience of second-year high school students in Zarand city.
Methods: The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive and correlational in terms of method, and all female second-year high school students in Zarand city who were studying in the academic year 1400-1401. According to an inquiry made by the Statistics Unit of the Education Department of Zarand city, the total number of students in this group was reported to be 2200. Of this number, the sample size was estimated to be 327 using the Krejci-Morgan table, and the simple random sampling method was used to select the sample individuals. The research instrument consisted of two researcher-made questionnaires measuring the use of virtual educational platforms and the Connor and Davidson (2003) psychological resilience questionnaire. Pearson correlation test was used to analyze the data using SPSS software.
Findings: The results of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between the use of virtual educational platforms and psychological resilience (p=0.001), and since the calculated correlation coefficient is equal to 0.586, it can be concluded that there is a direct and significant relationship between the use of virtual educational platforms and psychological resilience./
Conclusion: Based on the results obtained from this study, it can be concluded that the use of virtual educational platforms has a positive effect on increasing the psychological resilience of students. This means that the more effectively students interact with digital learning environments, the greater their ability to cope with academic, psychological, and environmental pressures.
