Designing a curriculum model based on composites

The aim of this research was to design a curriculum model based on blended learning for second grade elementary school students. This research was a mixed exploratory type. The statistical population included specialists and experts in the field of research, and the sample size was 10 people according to the theoretical saturation principle. The sampling method was purposive. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. Coding (open, axial, and selective) was used to analyze the data. The results of the research showed that ultimately, 4 main categories including goals, content, method, and evaluation contained 137 categories (variables) and the initial concept was extracted from the interview with experts. The results also indicated that only 29 items from these components alone are able to explain about 88% of the variance of the subject. Also, the main elements of the curriculum including goals, content, method, and evaluation have the necessary and sufficient coherence and appropriate validity.
