Abstract

Curriculum, as one of the fundamental pillars of education, plays a vital role in guiding learning and teaching processes. Curriculum counseling, with an emphasis on descriptive evaluation, can contribute to improving teachers’ performance and student learning. This study aimed to analyze experts’ perspectives on the role of curriculum counseling in enhancing teachers’ performance and improving learners’ learning. The research employed a quantitative approach and used a questionnaire to collect data. The research sample included 41 education experts. The results of data analysis using a one-sample t-test showed that experts strongly agreed with the impact of descriptive evaluation on formulating educational objectives (M = 4.44, SD = 0.56) and selecting teaching strategies (M = 4.64, SD = 0.44). These findings indicate that descriptive evaluation can effectively enhance educational processes and improve teaching quality.
